The Guest House and Gallery
The Grand Trunk is the ultimate getaway to beautiful Stratford! The house preserves the history of the Grand Trunk Railway (GTR) in the “Old Grove” neighbourhood, and backs onto the T.J. Dolan Natural Area and trail system.
This unique home was built in 1920, for a boilermaker working at the GTR. A hundred years later we found our new home and the guesthouse waiting to be reinvented.
Here you will enjoy your own private art gallery during your stay. From the moment you enter the stunning foyer with its custom hand painted mural, you’ll be immersed in beautiful local art, ceramics, jewelry and woodwork. Most of the artwork is for sale through our partnerships with local artisans.
